Kayla is an 11th-grade student at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY, passionate about spinal therapeutics and gene therapy. This summer, Kayla will expand her experience through an internship at Ohio State University, engaging in hands-on wet lab work. Beyond the lab, she enjoys collaborating with younger audiences through gymnastics and, through DWTS, strives to make science more accessible and engaging for everyone!

Olivia is an 11th-grade student at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, NY, with a strong passion for medicine, public health, and biomedical engineering. Already, she has conducted research across multiple institutions, including Columbia University, Fordham University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Olivia is committed to expanding STEM access by developing a DTWS chapter in Westchester, using hands-on learning and fun activities to make complex scientific concepts more accessible for younger students.

Chloe is currently a junior at Bronx Science with hopes of pursuing biochemistry and public health, and is incredibly excited to work with DTWS! Outside of academics, she enjoys reading and watching movies. Fun fact: her favorite animal is a cat!

Serena is currently a junior at the Bronx High School of Science in Bronx, NY, with a passion for immunology and healthcare. Currently, she conducts research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing primarily on immunology. Outside of the lab, she volunteers at several clinics in pursuit of filling the gaps in our healthcare systems. She also enjoys cafe hopping and listening to music. As a part of DTWS, Serena believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating biology she has the privilege of studying!
